Caring, protecting and enhancing our surroundings for future generations…

For a small country Belize is big on the environment. More than a third of the country is protected, which has helped to preserve its incredible biodiversity; both on land and under the sea.

Beneath the iconic turquoise Caribbean waters lie myriads of exotic, beautiful and healthy corals, alongside an abundance of marine life – including turtles, fish, dolphins, manatees and many more!

Amaya will be cherished in its natural state, with conservation programs to maintain its immense inland forest, its thriving mangroves and the living coral reef surrounding its shoreline. The rainwater here is also harvested, whilst all power comes directly from the sun, thanks to the latest technologies in renewable energy.

Why Belize?

Belize is a safe and stable country, where English is the first language, freehold title and ownership is granted on all property, and the legal system is based on that of English common law.

Belize offers many financial benefits, including no inheritance or capital gains taxes. The property taxes are much lower than that of North America and much of Europe, and there is an excellent retirement program open to anyone over 45 years. You only need to spend one month per year in Belize before being permitted to import all of your belongings – including a boat or a plane – back to your home, tax free.
